What is PPF and how does it protect my car?
PPF (Paint Protection Film) is a clear or colored thermoplastic polyurethane film applied directlyto your car's painted surfaces. It acts as an invisible barrier against rock chips, road debris, scratches, UV rays, chemical stains, and environmental contaminants. Glazion PPF features aself-healing top coat, meaning minor surface scratches disappear on their own with heat —keeping your paint looking new for years.
How much film do I need for my car?
It depends on how much of your vehicle you want to protect. A full-size sedan, SUV, or trucktypically requires 200-220 sq ft for complete coverage. The Glazion G Mini (100 sq ft) is ideal forfront-end and partial coverage — bumpers, hood, mirrors, and door edges. The G Clear, GFrozen, and G Color rolls (250 sq ft each) are sized for full-vehicle coverage with material tospare for complex cuts and re-dos.
Can I install Glazion PPF myself?
Yes — all Glazion rolls are designed with DIY installers in mind, and every kit includes the toolsyou need to get started. That said, PPF installation requires patience, proper surfacepreparation, and a clean environment. For best results and to protect your warranty coverage,we strongly recommend professional installation. If you do choose to self-install, please reviewour DIY disclaimer in the Terms & Conditions section.
Will the film yellow or discolor over time?
No. All Glazion PPF products feature a UV-resistant, anti-yellowing formula engineered to staycrystal clear — or true to finish for matte and color variants — over the life of the film. The GClear, G Frozen, and G Color rolls are backed by a 10-year UV warranty. The G Mini carries a7-year warranty. Warranty coverage applies to material defects only and must be registeredwithin 30 days of purchase.
Can the film be removed without damaging my paint?
Yes. All Glazion PPF products are designed for clean, residue-free removal when taken offcorrectly. The film will not damage factory, custom, or ceramic-coated paint when removedproperly. This is especially important for G Color and G Frozen customers who may want tochange their look in the future — your original paint and resale value stay completely intactunderneath.
Is Glazion PPF compatible with ceramic coatings?
Yes. All Glazion films are compatible with factory paint, custom paint, and ceramic-coatedsurfaces. If your vehicle already has a ceramic coating applied, PPF can still be installed on top.Alternatively, many detailers recommend applying a ceramic coating over the PPF afterinstallation for an added layer of hydrophobic protection and easier maintenance.
What is the difference between G Clear, G Frozen, and G Color?
All three are full-vehicle 50 ft rolls with the same self-healing, UV-resistant TPU base — thedifference is the finish. G Clear is completely transparent and disappears onto any paint color, preserving your car's original look. G Frozen gives your car a satin-matte transformation overany gloss paint with no separate wrap needed. G Color goes furthest, offering bold solid tonesand color-shift chameleon finishes that change with the light, while protecting the factory paint underneath.
